HOME AWAY FROM HOME
For the past couple of years, I have become heavily involved in the realm of urban exploration. My concept stems from the domestic issues surrounding my parents divorce and the constant distress involved in moving from home to home and never being able to fully adjust and settle in one place. I began photographing, exploring and documenting abandoned houses and found myself looking for a home, a place for privacy and ultimately a place where I felt comfortable. Through exploration, I have created an uncanny yet familiar intervention through my engagement with the space.
